[Mix of the Month Nov 2012] Call for submissions! Closing: 2 weeks today, 7th November.
Thanks to a push by DaftSam, we're on!
##Submissions Rules
- 2 weeks deadline: 7th November.
- First 6 mixes that pass these rules will be accepted. We'll let you know. No more than 6 as nobody will listen to them all and you can go up next month.
- Mix must be at least 20 mins in length. No longer than 2 hours (do not feel it needs to be 2 hours!)
- Drum & Bass mostly; by this I mean you're welcome to drop in the odd tune from other genres but the majority of the mix should be dnb.
- It should be fresh, this is mix of the month not best mix you've done in the last year.
- You're welcome to post it elsewhere, we're not asking for exclusivity just freshness.
- Try not to pander for votes, they will happen if it's decent.
##How to submit
- Do mix.
- Upload to Soundcloud, Zippyshare, Youtube, wherever as long as it's not shit. It may get more votes if you also allow it for download somewhere (people can take it offline etc).
- Message the moderators with the link and a title. We will collate and post a voting thread.
##How voting will work
- One self thread posted and mod highlighted with the post containing links to all mixes (so they don't get lost in comments).
- Each parent comment will also be the link to the mix.
- Upvotes will be counted for the parent comments, most wins. Winner announced after.
- All mixes are posted at the same time to make voting fairer.
- Voting time-span: to be discussed (see comment)
##What you get if you win:
- Link in header for the next month.
- Link in the sidebar for the next 6 months, then archived in a thread.
- Prestige, r/dnb is a hard place to please everyone.
Good luck all!
Just because I know some won't read that:
####tl;dr: DO NOT POST YOUR MIX IN THIS THREAD, TY :D
###UPDATE: No slots left. Voting starts soon after I've sorted out the 6 who entered (cheers btw!).
