R5: Finally got around to grinding out the Suffer not the alien achievement and figured I'd make it a bit more interesting and less of a grind by doing a 2.5x all crisis run.
I had an easy time of it at the start since I was cut off in the top left from the rest of the galaxy by 2 FEs and being locked in with a doomsday origin Hive mind of all things. had plenty of room to expand, get the synth tech and start assimilating everything. Eventually I switched over to just purging everyone instead after like 2k pops and multiple ECU forge worlds.
The crisis weren't super difficult but the unbidden were annoying, the contingency was a little scary and the Pythorians were a joke. Scariest was the one FE waking up and declaring war on me and doing a decent bit of damage. The grey tempest was pretty easy to deal with by the time they were released.
Game difficulty was GA with relatively standard settings all round
