The Sniper Mission Story

SpoilerDISCUSSION

Does anybody else agree that the Chongqing sniper mission story is the single worst thing in all of modern Hitman? It absolutely ruins first playthroughs of the game. You spend the whole mission in one spot, you are never incentivized to enter either The Block or The Lab and made such a miserable impression on that map.

I mean, if it’s the first playthrough of the level you have to enter the lab which is the main sttr action of the level anyway.

I don't remember that at all, I remember I was allowed to go out the immediate exit. Might have glitched

the single worst thing in all of modern Hitman?

Worse things, IMO:

  • The Carpathian Mountains
  • Finding the Maelstrom
  • Invisible bathroom walls in New York
  • The "disconnected" dialog popping up in the middle of some sensitive operation
  • Roughly half of the Seven Deadly Sins

People who have trouble finding the Maelstrom are not listening to conversations in the crowds enough.

Otherwise I agree.

The Maelstrom is eh, 3rd one is minor, 4 is pretty problematic, 5th havent played it but its minor side content so it doesnt matter so much. Lastly, The Carpathian Mountains are meh but it is good enough on the first playthrough and the first impression is incredibly important.

aprox half the chongqing level being ICA facility stuff instead of city stuff is worse. sniper story does feel kinda cheap though

im pretty sure the devs only added it in so there is a logical way to snipe her, since she never leaves the facility

They couldve added a way to draw her out that wasnt a mission story
