Lotta good stuff. A lot. They definitely took some notes from the PTS.

Squad size matched queues for all 3 maps was definitely a pleasant surprise to see.

Only thing missing was info about the self-wipe mechanic, but they can have a pass on that for now because I saw in an interview, it's something they'll be pushing out mid-season citing the fact that even the sweats won't be interested in wiping that soon, which I think is reasonable.

I was actually just going to ask about that, good thing to know it will be coming soon.

Did they mention any incentives in the interview?

Nothing concrete, but he did mention they were looking into cosmetics and slight gameplay bonuses and QoL stuff (think extra stash space, that sort of thing).

And thats okay, there will be MK 1 and MK 2 weapons which will fill in those gaps. I think that will be cool. I guess we have to see. But also it will be hard for sweatlords to get high end weapons so its cool…

Why is that? They will be playing against other casuals and same squad size. do you mean the economy changes?

I am excited to check out this update. I hope these changes can make finding loot more enjoyable and interesting. Really seams like you won’t find any “better” gear on a player you kill with these changes which is a bummer. That’s one of the best feelings in Tarkov is getting a kill on a higher lvl player and getting there sweet ass gear from it. Seems to be missing here.
