But the N7 Fury is better!!111!!01 (Asari Valkyrie build)

Introduction:

Ah, the Asari Valkyrie (or whatever you call her, I call her EnyalaBot just to be ironic), there's been so much QQ over you not being the Drell Infiltrator or how you're supposedly not as good as the Fury. Well, I'm here to tell you that this class is not only better than the Fury, but is also practically naked (BW is known for their fanservice.)

So, what makes this class better than the Fury? Well, for starters, Warp > Dark Channel. Firstly, the Warp/Incendiary ammo bug already makes this class worth playing. Secondly, Warp is just a much better team oriented ability, especially with Biotic teams. In short, DC's biggest down fall is the fact that it only acts as a Primer, not a Detonator, and it doesn't have a Detonate evolution for harder hitting BE's. It's incredibly frustrating to have a Fury who only spams DC, and overrides your Reave or what have you, which not only leads to weak BE's, but also slower BE's because she is overriding your Primer with DC, leading to slower boss killing.

Also, the Valkyrie is much tankier because of Tech Armour. The Fury isn't known for being tanky, and has to rely on Draining shields with AF or staggers so she doesn't get her shit pushed in when she tries to walk into a spawn. But with TA the Valkyrie can obviously take a bit more punishment over the Fury; add in Drain from AF and she's definitely a much tankier class. The downside to being more tankier is the Valkyrie doesn't have nearly as much Mobility as the Fury, nor can she teleport through walls.

So now that we got that out of the way, lets talk about how to spec the Valkyrie.

Spec:

this is my exact setup, and below I'll talk about what evolutions I feel have some merit to taking, and why I chose what I chose.

Tech Armour: For the 5th evolutions, honestly it really doesn't matter what you decide to take. The Power Damage bonus really doesn't help you too much as your main damage source will be from Biotic Explosions, not Power Damage from Warp/AF. But you probably won't be meleeing too much, so there's no real point in taking that either. But Power Damage will probably help you out more than the Melee Damage evolution, so that's what I went with.

As for the 6th evolutions, I personally prefer Power Recharge. But if you don't mind you're Cooldowns being a bit longer and want more Durability, then getting that extra 10% DR isn't a bad choice. It's up to you.

Annihilation Field:

The only evolution I would consider changing is the 5th one. I personally prefer Movement speed just because the Valkyrie moves so goddamn slow without it, but the Extra damage taken is not a bad option; But IIRC, it only works if the enemies are within range of AF, so just keep that in mind.

Warp:

Not much to say, really. The only other Evolution that is worth taking over what I have is probably Recharge speed if you plan on carrying a heavy loadout. Other than that though, everything else is worthless.

Gameplay

You pretty much play this class just like the Fury, just instead of Throw you have Warp. Just make sure when you try to Warp that you hit them with your Acolyte first so they don't fucking barrel roll your Warp. Oh, and remember to replenish AF every round, preferably before another round starts. Also keep in mind that detonating Tech Armour staggers pretty much everything except bosses (IIRC), so if you run into 4 phantoms, detonate TA then run the fuck away.

Weapons:

At this point, with all the buffs that the Acolyte has received, there's no reason not to bring it on most Adepts, It's that good now. I also bring the Wraith X as a secondary to deal with Bosses, but if you don't have it then you can bring whatever you feel comfortable with, as long as it is a decent boss killer and it's lightweight. Or if you want, you can just bring a Acolyte, but you won't be contributing much when it comes to boss killing.

Final thoughts:

Honestly, this is probably my favourite class that has been released so far, and I must say I much prefer the Valkyrie over the Fury. The Valkyrie is just a overall much better teamplayer, and contributes much more to bosses (and with the Warp/incendiary ammo bug, she does way more damage too), and is much more tanky, which was one of my main gripes with the Fury. So overall, I'd say that the Valkyrie is a much better class than the Fury in many ways, but lacks the mobility of the Fury, but makes up for it by being a bit tankier and a better teammate, especially on Biotic teams.
