Seek guidance, What part should I change/update on this build?

Hello there! I'm currently updating my build, I'm changing my GPU, CPU, motherboard and my power supply (I'll also change my RAM later today on pcpartpicker). I do have some issues/questions though. I'll link the build below. Everything in the build except for the things I just listed are what I have currently in my PC. I apologize in advance for my poor knowledge on PC hardware.

In the compatibility notes and disclaimer section, it tells me about a few issues. What I'm looking for with this post is to get help on the best thing to do to resolve them, maybe even have someone modify my build to resolve those issues in the best way possible. I should note that I'm updating my current rtx 2080 to to a rtx 4080 GPU, so my build is based around that card. But everything else that I changed in this build can be changed again, like choosing another motherboard or something like that.

As you can see in the link, (note B) things like the cpu cooler is not compatible with the new CPU I've chosen (unlike my current CPU). It needs an adapter to fit the motherboard I was wondering what's the best course of action (money wise) to correct this. Maybe choosing a new cpu or a new cooler or just a new motherboard? I do intend to keep the GPU I've chosen so my build is based on that hardware!

Another thing is the usb adapter (note A). I'm wondering what those are for? I should note that I've never built a PC in my life and my current one was built by a friend. So this tells me that I need an adapter but I was wondering if I should just buy one or that I could just change something else in my build?

I think I'm good for the note C and the disclaimer but I'm unsure as I'm going to change RAM and the cooler might go. My friend is going to change my build for me so I think he'll know that to do here with the cables.
