This is the near final desult of deciding to piece together my desktop into a form I could be satisfied with. I've used many influences from well-made desktops, so many components will probably be familiar to you.
The left desktop is set up to only rotate between similar panel wallpapers, which are easy to make with a template. Both monitors rotate between ~35 wallpapers in 30 minute intervals. Hereare the wallpapers used, as well as the template if that interests anyone. The left monitor is positioned ~5-6 feet away and is usually playing videos or music, however I thought some light rainmeter could help improve its utility.
The visualstyle is a combination of spot and shadow, as well as a few other edits to suit my taste. The icons are mostly Token, with Preblack live folders thrown in. Firefox theme is rein, and my homepage is a personalized version of the soft google page. foobar2000 skin is foo_ncmpcpp_mod, again recolored to my preference.
As for the foobar components, I've edited them to look similar even though they don't share any base packages. Top left hard drive meter is from Gaia08 rainmeter double, and below that the sabnzbd monitor and gaia10 notes. Bottom left is orangeredder. Finally, the clock is a combination of the ABP clock and silva suite.
I would be happy to throw up an album of wallpapers I use, or answer any questions should the interest be expressed.
krissirk does SUCH great work with his visual styles. I am currently using one similar and am madly in love. Your setup looks fantastic, by the way. I'll shamelessly be utilizing that wallpaper.

Err... the entire 1920x1200 wallpaper selection. They are all excellent.
Sorry about the size, I keep all my wallpapers as .png's just by convention and because I can spare the space.
Though I could easily convert them if need be.
