Some Were Made

Poem

Some were made to share,

To spend evenings with them,

As the sun went down,

The stars shined outside

They looked around

The crowded ballad of their life.

Some were made for friends,

For endless adventures

And secrets to tell;

A thousand little souls

Intertwine from now on.

Some were made along love,

Twin flames crafted in Paradise,

The gods envied the mortals just once.

You're the beating of her heart

As she looks around and moves alike

The fairies in fantasy land.

She chose to dance,

To take your hand,

And whisper jokes, craft smiles.

So many of them were made for outsiders,

And some of them were made to step aside

To beg to the moon for mercy in their fate,

My knees bled over the gravel in Hell,

Not even The Devil could help.

There were dancers around,

Laughing alike,

Paying me blunders of self,

A light shined inside the night.

Darkness gave her one more time

And I just swallowed my broken heart.

Those are the ones with purpose in life,

Who find joy in blinding their eyes

Only to get a gaze from the sun,

Please, Lord, don't forget my soul.

Begging out loud,

Breaking my lungs,

Nothing prepares you for evermore.

The need that those

Feel deep in their minds,

Nothing erases

The beat of their heart,

It only belongs

Deep in the night,

No one prepares you,

You're facing the truth,

Family loves you,

You're all alone—

No one gets close

Enough to see,

There's nothing good

in my beliefs,

As I'm just a dancer

crying out loud,

Flesh and blood

laying around,

Tell me the truth,

Don't hide in the night,

I won't forgive you

if you leave right now,

There's only one chance

To blink one more time,

I scream to the night,

Am I alive?

Or am I just cheating in life?
