What is to you blue?
This world is black,
And white, and grey.
Irony to the believers,
Of the blue they see today.
Amid the softness
Of the falling snow,
The bare trees stand tall.
The nights pass quickly,
Revealing what to see below.
Glimmering pale snow,
Trampled upon and ploughed,
This snow that has
Hidden the pavements.
And in our amazement,
We remove to uncover,
Failures of future past.
This failure looks blue,
But to me, it is grey,
For what truly looks blue,
Are those pretentious hands,
That discovered it too soon.
