Building code changed in the middle of project

Have been building a 12x16 shed before these new building codes went into effect.

Original code when started- Less then 200 sq ft gross floor are changed to

New code mid build- Less then 200 sq ft roof area.

Just wondering since I had started building this before the new code went into effect would I be considered grandfathered in to the old building code even though construction wasn’t finished?

Building permit is not required for the prior but the shed is not a permanent structure as it’s built on skids.
