I’m doing a project on fountain pens and I need some help

My teacher asked my class to do a project on Islamic innovations, and the basic anatomy of a fountain pen is one of those innovations.

The section I’m working on now is fountain pens in the present day, and the fountain pen community, so I was hoping to get some of your opinions on fountain pens, whether that be the quality of the paper, the customizable aspect of the fountain pen, etc. I really want to highlight this community because this is such an amazing subreddit.
