Projector emitting discolored video, changing lamp doesn't work

So, we've had an epson powerlite home cinema 3020 for years now, and about a year and a half ago, the original lamp ran its course. We bought a new lamp and when we installed it, it produced video where the middle had a pink hue, and the sides had a green hue. We had bought a 3d party lamp, so we tried to use an epson lamp, but the problem persisted. As of then, every lamp we used had the same problem. Can someone tell me what the problem is, because it can't be the lamp, can it?

Edit: Every lamp we used from then on, including epson bulbs didn't last as long. Our original lasted for about 6 years, the new ones barely lasted a few months and the epson one only lasted a little less than a year.
