Rec’d First Dose Today / Question About Next Month - Ro Body Timeline

Hi! I scoured this forum for timelines and it helped quell my nerves on the start up process, so sharing my experience here.

I had a very positive experience with Ro. The only hiccup was the initial PA denial from insurance, but that was out of Ro’s control & only delayed me a few days. I haven’t seen any posts yet (may have missed) about the process for month #2. I would love to hear more about the refill process to know what to expect!

3/4/23 Signed up

3/8/23 Received metabolic kit; sent kit back same day

3/9/23 Received email letting me know my kit was scanned by postal service and on the way back to Ro

3/14 -Metabolic results were in, everything within normal range (received email and message from Ro)

-Scheduled video call with doctor same day

-Dr prescribed Ozempic + sent follow up message through Ro app with information on medicine

3/21 -Insurance denied PA for Ozempic (only covered for diabetics)

-Rec’d message from Doctor letting me know they would try another authorization for Wegovy

3/24 Insurance approved PA for Wegovy

3/25 Received message from Ro letting me know they were looking for pharmacies in my network with medicine in stock

3/28 -Rec’d message from Ro letting me know Express Scripts mail order had medicine in stock and order was placed

-Rec’d email from ESI confirming order and asking me to verify my address online

3/29 ESI shipped order with fedex tracking My cost was $24.99 with the Wegovy manufacturer assistance (I didn’t apply for this myself so I assume ESI did it for me)

4/1 Received medicine
