What's the most pointless thing I could finance, and how would it affect my credit report?
After being awestruck by this post of a Starbucks drink broken into installments, I started wondering how far one could push the limit. Lots of fintech places seem desperate to get anyone to finance anything these days... would they let me split 4¢ into four 1¢ payments? If I start messing around trying to get credit for increasingly stupid things, is it going to bite me the next time I actually need to qualify for something? Or would having extra perfect loan history help me in the long run??
