How do mothers with autoimmune disease *and* very small children DO IT?

I have Hashimoto’s Disease and Endometriosis. I have a 22 month old kid, and I am 6 weeks pregnant with a second. I am 35. At least with pregnancy, the endometriosis is “on pause”. But I feel like I am in a constant state of Hashimoto’s autoimmune flare up. Seriously extreme fatigue, body aches, the whole nine yards. And yes, my thyroid is being closely monitored by an amazing endocrinologist.

I just keep thinking… literally HOW do mothers who constantly feel maximum fatigue manage to rear toddlers and have any energy for anything at all? I listen to some mom friends talk about taking their kids to sports practices, events, traveling, or even just daily cooking routines… whatever… and I’m exhausted just thinking about it.

Is there like a support group anywhere online for autoimmune disease mamas if small kids?
