Non-chaos dot bow build pathfinder remotely viable/possible?
Title.
I have basically no experience with bow builds (played TR once long ago on trickster) or rangers (made a jank ST raider like 4 years ago) so hoping some folks here can shed some light on this or just kill the idea outright.
Been wanting to make a bow build for a while and while I know deadeye is usually the preferred route to go for hit-based builds like ice/lightning/tornado show or storm rain and the like, I'm wondering if pathfinder has any real viability?
Big into the defensive layers that can come from PF via flasks and petrified blood and feel like it's possible to leverage the tree to largely handle a lot of defensive/sustain issues or trading some of that for crit/ele pen from master distiller.
Between me generally not being the smartest build creator and the lack of other examples to look to for some inspiration I'm hoping some kind folks who are smarter and more experienced than I am can let me know if this is a waste of time that simply won't be good without unreasonable investment or if there might be something to this?
Not necessarily looking for a built out tree or anything (though I won't say no!), just a general "That can work well/moderately okay" or "You're dumb and that's a terrible build."
