M22 F22 any advice for trust issues ?

I’ll keep it short and sweet , I have alot of trust issues when it comes to relationships I was in a toxic relationship for the better part of two years and my dumb ass thought it was love and I always forgave no matter what happened there was cheating, abuse both physical and mental and even ended with being arrested she was the worst but I put in 100% of what I can and try and make things work

This is effecting my new relationship I don’t want to be hurt again but i don’t know how to approach situations now because I don’t want to be overbearing in my new relationship. she’s been amazing so far but I’m fully aware my brain makes up situations and assumptions that she will do the same thing in time.

How do I talk to her about this without being overbearing I feel bad for even thinking like this because she is brilliant and she’s not given me any reason to worry
