Infantry vs. Vehicle

Ok y'all I'm posting this to have a constructive conversation on the topic of infantry vs. vehicles.

I am new to the Battlefield franchise with BF2042 being the first I've played. What I've noticed so far, is there seems to be a deep seated hatred for vehicle mains, especially those who go 50-0/better as an example.

As someone who's done their best to be a well balanced player, I don't understand the hate vehicle mains get.

Now, if a vehicle player is being toxic, that's one thing, but that seems to be more rare than common.

So, I'd like to hear both sides: infantry only players, why do you dislike high skill vehicle players, and vice versa?
