ROAD TO IELTS REVIEWER
Hey guys! My IELTS test will be in 2 weeks and i'm very anxious because I purchased the road to ielts reviewer for my preparation. But I have seen posts in the past that the reviewer is actually more difficult which I also agree. So i've been reading around here on reddit which practice sites are the best and most of ya'll recommended the cambridge practice test. I have been practicing the cambridge books and I get better scores than the road to ielts one (road to ielts is by clarity english I think). I am getting anxious because even though people think the cambridge books are very similar to the actual test (base on difficulty). I kinda have a feeling that I don't want to rely on that assurance. This is making me feel like shit.
I'm a filipino and in the Philippines we use english as our main use of instruction. Literally only one subject is non-english from elementary to highschool (but i guess this depends on which school). I also graduated with a Communication degree and have studied in an international university before. I am here in the Netherlands to take the test but knowing that I'm so bad at this test (because of the road to ielts difficulty) i'm getting so worried about it.
Did anyone else have any experience reviewing with road to ielts? Like it's fucking crazy for example that they would start the first part on which paragraph does it talk about that something. So obviously these kind of tasks requires you TO READ EVERYTHING. I have always been good with time management when it comes to tests. But it's just crazy how already in the first part it's that difficult. Now I am starting to doubt my english skills. I hope anyone can help with me in this. The cambridge practice test were better because they were reasonably challenging. But a part of me also think maybe I really don't have the english skills they require and that im just feeling entitled. :(
