Which is the best sewing machine for beginners with a goal to make bigger garments?
I'm a complete beginner to sewing with a machine and have only done basic running, back and satin stitches on various projects (all by hand). In terms of machine, I'd like one that can last from the very basics of training with basic accessories and making simple a line skirts to working with tulle for petticoats and possibly satin and bare minimum cotton as I aim to teach myself to make my own Lolita JSKs (because importing or buying quality JSKs from japanese vendors will melt a hole in my pocket compared to the initial costs of sewing). So, which are the best sewing machines out there for someone who'd ideally like to spend around £150 max but is willing (if necessary) to tap out at £250 potentially? In terms of features, I'd like button hole min 1 option and an overlock stitch option. If anyone knows a machine that would fit all of these requests, please let me know.
