Just want to show everyone what the inside of my legit Samsung 860 PRO 512GB SSD looks like, At least i think its legit, & also what a fake 1TB one looks like.
And how to tell the difference. I bought this one about a year ago from ebay, from "Taiwan, Taiwan". For $170. Before people start telling me here that i could've got it cheaper, no, i couldnt have & not this model, this was the fastest one for its time, the only equivalent was maybe the 870 EVO, the EVO might have faster random speeds, not sure. I recall that Samsung was the only brand I could find that CLEARLY stated the expected read & write speeds, & that also was the fastest of that.
So here is what a fake SSD Samsung 860 EVO 1TB looks like compared to a genuine 860 EVO 1TB,according to youtuber "proSSD", see screenshot: https://pasteboard.co/QY1keoGXDYdr.png

Here are the test results for my 860 PRO: Samsung says it has 560mb/s read speed, 530MB/s write speed.KDiskmark said the disk performed near 560 & 530. Also h2testw said it’s capacity was legit.
