Anyone Form 1 their CRB to a different length than the 5.5" pistol?

Has anyone here had their Form 1 SBR'd CRB barrel cut/threaded to a different length than the actual SBR version? I'm wondering if this is the better route to go. Something like a 8" barrel seems to look the best and still provide optimal muzzle velocity. I used Photoshop to do a mockup and 7"-8" without a shroud still looks kind of cool to me. Just wondering how easy it is for me to pull the barrel/trunion out to have it cut, threaded, and crowned.
