Wonderlands through Epic Games keeps crashing

Just got my Steam Deck a week ago. I used tutorial guides on here and YT to download Epic Games launcher. Downloaded Wonderlands today and I barely start moving around in game and the Deck crashes. Screen to black, inputs doing nothing. I have to force a restart. Tried playing both in game mode and desktop mode.

Has anyone experienced this before, have any ideas on how to fix it?

I know it would work better on Steam, but I don't want to have to buy the game and dlc again.
