Should I contact the PD for my prelim IM now?

Hi guys, I would really appreciate your advice. I matched to prelim IM but didn’t match in Rad advance. Only Program coordinator contacted me for onboarding process. Should I ask her if I can connect with PD right now and talk to him about future or wait until I start in July?
