When does the next generation Spectre come out? Buy the 13th gen now, or wait for 14th gen?

Hey all,

Recently asked about upgrading to a Spectre after having owned one for several years, but moving to a Surface Pro in the interim. I've decided I do want to go back to the Spectre.

Only issue now, is do I buy the current generation, or wait until the next one comes out?

Can anyone tell me approximately how long until the next gen is released? And what improvements are expected from it? My Surface Pro is working for now, but there are some issues with it that I'm not loving, so I would prefer to get a new laptop sooner than later.

Ideally, I want a 13". One of my main issues with the current generation is that I want 32GB of ram, but that option isn't available with the OLED (any reason why?), and I am hoping for another Thunderbolt port, or at least another USB C port. The Surface Pro has 2, and I an using both with docking stations right now. I charge the unit with the Microsoft priorietary charger. I know the current Spectre only has 2 thunderbolt ports, and one needs to be used for charging.

Thanks all
