Stop the NPC dialogue just to get pissy when someone doesn't reply.

My friend loves to play the game of "I see/K/there he is" responses and gets pissed off when I don't reply. I'm sorry but is it just me who thinks that doesn't mean anything at all? Honestly, I don't understand people who type out the shortest thing they can and think I'm about to write them a book about my day so far. No. I don't have the time for type up a seminar of activities just to get "K", and that person wonders why the hell I didn't respond again.

Just hours ago he messages me saying "sup fugly", I responded with a simple hey. He fires back "there she is" and I don't respond. Just for him to message me with an actual sentence of "wow, fuck me I guess I'm not worth the time". He knows I know he's at work, he knows that I'm busy with the weekend, so there shouldn't be a single issue with my not responding to "there she is". Wtf am I supposed to say?

Texting/messaging is like real estate. If you give me only 1 foot of space I can't even build a flimsy shitty shed on it so I'm not going to try. Give me an actual question, or an intelligent statement and I'll keep the conversation going. If not? Then don't even waste time typing up the message.
