Should i use 5% minoxidil and 5% procapil together?

Last year i went to my doctor nd he recommended me using procapil and minoxidil together. He gave me 2 sprays nd advised me to use procapil at night and minoxidil in the morning. So i followed his advise and after 2-3 months my hair fall decreased significantly. i stopped using the sprays which i know I shouldn't have but spraying my hair everyday made them oily and i had to take a shower which caused some hair to fall. Anyways i looked up online and people recommend to follow 1 of the 2 (mino/proc). I was wondering if i followed a different routine would my hairfall have decreased quicker. Nd if so wot is the routine?
