9SPD chain dead after about 6-700km

Hello lads, my old chain snapped in nov/dec last year, where I changed the casette, jockey wheels, crank, and put a new chain on obviously, I've cleaned it with a rag and lubed it weekly, and have taken it off twice and shaken it in a jar of gasoline. Now it measures 0.75% wear. Just regular, salty country chain wear?
