Total Noob Here...
Yesterday I built my first printer and printed my very first 3D print (well, benchy test print). Not gonna lie... It was pretty exciting. Especially since I've heard all the horror stories of first prints and something about first layer?
For you experienced people, I bet this printer was a breeze to build and get started. For me, the manual was garbage. There is sooo much info they don't tell you about. It's sad really. Thank goodness for Redit and YouTubers.
I was looking at a few things like ways to speed up the printing. Using a .6 nozzle, changing the build plate....
I'll be printing mostly PETG and PLA so I was told a good upgrade would be to change by build plate to PEI Flexible magnetic plate? Like this one https://amzn.to/3lUSOtc I'd share a photo but I want to make sure it's the correct part for my Ender 3 Neo (not V2)
Is this something I should change out? I'm told I would not need to add anything on the build plate if I do? Is this true? Should I change from the glass plate to this one if I'm using PETG and PLA only prints? Thanks in advance.
