Any other controller players struggling with pvp (hourglass especially)?

I’m a PC player with xbox controller - I’ve been noticing a bit of a gap between my pvp skills versus other players. Obviously it’s a skill issue (lol) as well but I wonder if playing on controller makes it more difficult to deal with boarders and have faster reactions to kill boarders?

Again may be just be a skill issue for me but I’m curious if anyone has this thought too. I’m trying to get the curse and I’m currently level 79 reapers and struggling to win fights right now. Ahh!
