Does working as scribe is considered good for residency?

Hi everyone I am working as ER scribe and I want to apply for IM residency. Do you know/have any experience in an applicant that found working as a scribe useful in getting a match? Some people say it is as good as usce and others say it is useless. I wonder which one is true
