Me and my bestfriends likes the same boy, but he seem to be interested in all three of us

Actually I'm new here so I'll just begin with it. So here we have a trio. Zara, Zoe and Valerie (me). Me and my two bestfriends, we're very close and we have been pretty interested in a guy who is our neighbour and we don't have a problem with it since we know we don't like him that much. The thing is that whenever we see him, we all see him together so we have observed that he looks everytime even if any one of us looks. There's this thing that happened yesterday where we were seeing off Zoe and at that moment he was passing by, he didn't see Zoe as she was a bit far but he did saw me and Zara, we saw him and it seemed like he made eye contact with both of us at the same time which is impossible. This has happened many times. We're very curious to know who he is actually looking at so if you guys have some experience or something, let me know! Also for further detail you can reply me ^^
