I need help on the first frieza mission

In case you don’t know what I mean it’s the mission with super saiyan goku and cooler shows up on destroyed namek and you have to fight him and frieza, and I cannot beat them whatever I do. I’ve gotten up to 10+ levels over the recommendation and still can’t even get past one health bar. Any tips for combat in general or for this fight would be much appreciated.

Also I want to know if I’m struggling because the fight is unfair or I’m just bad since I’m still relatively new.
