Brother constantly harassing me around the house

My brother won't stop harassing me around the house, he has no job, no apartment, and he lost his girlfriend. All he does is blame everyone else. He sits around constantly and thinks he owns the house. I've tried to talk to my mom about it but it seems like she doesn't want to get rid of him or do anything about it.

Does anyone have any tips to cope with abusive siblings?
