Looking for best adhesive/bond/tapes for my system.

I went to a salon to have my hair system installed a few weeks ago and it's feeling like it's about due for a maintenance. I've never done this before as this is my first hair system so I'm trying to figure out what adhesives/bond/tapes I should use.

I know for a fact that the salon used something very similar to Walker's Top Priority Bond (the hard bond) because they left a little strip of stubble on my perimeter and applied the bond there (track bonding). They also used these incredibly thick white tapes on the bottom of the hair system for the bond to stick to. I didn't see them use any type of glue, except for the front lace.

I'm wondering if I should replicate this at home. The Walker website says the hard bond should really only be used by professionals. I also HATE the tapes that the salon used because they're incredibly thick and you can see them if I lift the hair up at the sides, so I'd like to go for a clear tape or at least something a bit thinner.

Edit: I have the Neo from Lordhair. French lace front and crown with poly perimeter. I do not live in a humid climate and don't sweat or swim often. I do wet the hair daily in the shower.
