Compatible with the Frontier?

Looking to start a new playthrough in TTW, but haven't ever played the Frontier, and want to try it out now that it's been a couple years and they've had time to clean things up. I've seen posts saying that the mod is compatible with TTW, but they've all been a year or more old. So, is it compatible? If it is, is there anything in particular I need to do/install to make sure it works properly?
