Dear Amazon,
You have failed in your mission to be the most customer centric company in the world. I KNOW that your over paid executives and other high end employees are trying to figure out why your business is suffering. And why people are always complaining about Amazon. I have this question for you all. When your employees are overworked, underpaid, stressed from dealing with the absolutely ridiculous metrics and micromanagement. How do you expect them to represent your company well? Or do a good job? I'll tell you right now, you can't. Unless you treat the people doing the hard work for your company well. After all, they are the ones keeping you in business and keeping your pockets full. All the metrics and micro management, does NOTHING but make your employees miserable. Which, in return, makes your company look bad to your customers. Everyone I talk to, unless they've done this job, are blind to the fact that working for Amazon is horrible. You can't lie to the masses forever. I suggest you change your ways and treat the cogs in your machine well, or one day, they wont keep the wheel turning anymore. Amazon has so much potential, but the only thing on the agenda for you is how to take advantage of the work force. I strongly believe that this is the WRONG way to run a business. You're not out here everyday representing the brand. So why would you try to take advantage of the people who are? Look at UPS for example. There's a reason they're top dog. There's a reason it's hard to get a job with them and their employees are extremely loyal. Treat your employees well and they will run your business for you. With proper guidance, of course. Do better. You owe it to your employees. Good day.
