I have C. Diff from Clindamycin :(

I took Clindamycin the second week of March for an infected hangnail and then a week and a half later I started having abdominal pain, diarrhea, gas and burping. My doc just called and said I have C. Diff so now I'm being put on a 10 day antibiotic to get rid of it. Just wanted to come on here to rant and say SCREW Clindamycin. If I had known it was going to give me this infection I would have never taken it. I'm already a hypochondriac as it is, so now I have to worry about this. I hope it goes away after this antibiotic. Why would they even allow Clindamycin to be given to people these days?!?
