Want to get into collecting - Questions

So I want to get into collecting anime figures. I plan on ordering the Reading Stiner preorder. For other figures in the future, what websites do y’all suggest. What is a cheap but good shelf to display figures. And do y’all who have lewd figures just hide them or say fuck it and display them when ppl are over. I don’t think my Gf would be to understanding if she saw me owning one.
