Looking for a (16-bit era?) tile-matching Columns III, Puyo Puyo, Dr. Mario, etc.-like JAPANESE game. The final boss is female, pretty, goth-like.

If my memory isn't messing with me, the ending reveals that the defeated last boss turns into a baby, rebirthed into goodness or something akin to it.

I've wanted to play this game for a very long time. We used to play it in kindergarten because the older kids acheived to download a genesis/mega drive emulator into it (so I'm assuming it's at least 16-bit).
