AITA for telling my friend she was prescribed what she was prescribed for a reason?
So. About a week ago, I saw on my friends story the typical “Don’t hit me up, i’m fine, just a little shaken up”. I didn’t even text her about it nor did she ask if she could tell, but she went ahead and told me that she was in a late night car crash with her friend in his expensive car she had been paying to ride along in. She told me was just a little shaken up, and the car was also fine just a few scratches, like in the story. I of course give the typical “i’m so sorry that happened.” Fast forwards a few days. She’s now telling me she has PTSD from the incident, can’t leave her house (yet still went over to her boyfriends and out with her other friend), and that her friends car now has over 5k or 50k in damages I can’t remember which she said since this was on snap. Yesterday, I wake up to snaps from her saying she went to the hospital at one am. She shows me the medication she got on another snap. I send her a morning streak snap. Again, she sends another multi snap rant after another basically just saying she went to the hospital and got meds, ibuprofen 400mg among them. She was bragging about this particularly because I guess her small brain can’t comprehend big numbers. /j Jokes aside, she then TEXTS me in snap saying the same thing about the medication. She add’s she is scared because she doesn’t know what it will do to her organs, since she’s quote en quote ‘small and frail’. I told her It was probably prescribed for a reason. She says the same thing about the hospital and the meds and her body, so i repeat, “It was probably prescribed for a reason, unless you were up-playing your illness in the hospital.”
She goes,
“I was literally in a car crash 💀”
I go,
“Then, it was prescribed for a reason.”
Boom, blocked.
Mind you, I dropped the same friend a year ago for blocking me over small disputes. I am not letting her back into my life for a reason. She also used to use her dead twin as an excuse for any negative emotions (anger, sadness, anything) If you see my LAST AITA post.
TLDR; I got blocked because I didn’t give her the pity reaction she wanted.
