Does the 12vhpwr adapter from a 4090 compatible with 3090 ti?

Hi, as you guys know the 30 and 40 RTX have this huge power connector in the front of the GPU which is very ugly.
lian li just released a 12vhpwr extender for 4090, and I'm thinking about using it for the 3090 ti since they're both 12vhpwr, will it blow my GPU to smithereens? :D
