Leaky foundation advice

Hi all,

I have no home improvement experience and am not handy. I live in a 90 year old house in Ohio and the basement leaks. It’s getting worse. The basement is unfinished with painted masonry walls. Some of them seem to have a kind of render on them that is decaying under the layers of paint. The good news is that there only seems to be gaps between the blocks and none of them are cracked.

How do I fix this? The gaps seem very small. I’ve attached a photo link. I spent plenty of time on YouTube searching for leaky basement videos and none of them seem to be about this. I feel like this can’t be that hard, but my frustration level is to the point of just burning the house to the ground and starting over (joking, but you get it).
