LOS20 SMS Issues

I recently upgraded LOS19 to 20 on my OnePlus 8 Pro (instantnoodlep). Everything is working fine, with the exception of SMS/MMS. When I first did the upgrade (via TWRP) and rerooted, SMS was completely down. After a bit of tinkering, I found that changing the preferred network type from Global to LTE/CDMA worked after cycling airplane mode, preventing transitioning between 5G and LTE. The network can still be a bit finicky, requiring toggling airplane mode to restore service, though I think that may be cell tower handoff. For whatever reason, group chats are intermittent (sometimes they either won't send, or will be delayed, and receipt is somewhat similar), and picture/video is nonexistant. I'm using Pulse SMS, but reverting to stock LOS Messenger yields the same issues. I know Pulse SMS has a setting where image files need to be set to the carrier's maximum, which is how I resolved this issue on LOS19, but even the lowest setting and a reboot resolves nothing on LOS20. I've scoured the settings and am running dry, and I know Verizon couldn't care less because A) I didn't purchase this phone through them, and B) I'm modified and rooted. Any thoughts?
