Finances with adhd partner
Does anyone feel burdened by their dx partner when it comes to finances and 75budget? It sounds ridiculous out loud but I've been brought to tears by him randomly ordering a pizza when I was out. When I mentioned getting something for tea (I always order for the whole family) he suggested that we make things from the freezer because I mentioned that we have to watch our spending with the COL crisis. I always watch our budget and rarely spend money on myself. Our son's 2nd birthday is coming up and I'm buying him presents with my own money second hand. He on the other hand buys Pepsi and other things The thing is he always does this. He spends money he doesn't have on things he doesn't need or spur of the moment food. Meanwhile every time he runs out of money or there's an unexpected expense I have to bail us out. Unless it's obvious, money that should be shared gets spent by him because he doesn't notice it gone. It hurts me. I love him but I hate how whenever the adhd causes a problem I'm the one it hurts financially. I want to tell him all of this but I'm scared to appear like I'm financially controlling him by saying what he can and can't spend his money on
