What is the maximum amount of storage my laptop can handle?

My laptop model is Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 with a Ryzen 7 5800H processor and Nvidia RTX 3050 4GB graphics card. It came with a default 512 GB of SSD and I want to add another one. My laptop has an spare SATA slot and an spare NVME SSD slot (which looks shorter than the other one).
