Secondly, to Winston, you made a very good point about 'bad news not getting out there' I think. I wonder if you or Matt or both of you could look into the death-crush that happened on The Bund riverside in Shanghai about 2013/14? maybe. I was told by a Chinese friend that it went silent on wechat and no foreign journalists were allowed into the inquiry/inquest stuff.

I've seen things about money or fake money being thrown from a building and causing a stampede but other than that I know nothing.

I mean, it's Shanghai right - the first tier of first tiers - but I bet not many know about this. (I think I heard that 30-40 were trampled to death, but again, I don't know.)
