Dr970x lte sim question

When the data runs out I learned the sim cloud connection stops until next data cycle. Today is the 1st and is the beginning of the new cycle. Is there a delay? It isn't connected to the cloud via LTE right now. It was a pain to get it setup in the first place and I fear that every time it runs out of data I'll have to reset things. Thoughts?
