Expanding Internaionally - What have I not considered?

Shopify General Discussion

I have a product, and an ad, that seems to work anywhere around the world. The price point is perhaps mid range though so we lose low cost countries like India that love to look at it but can't afford it.

I am curious what is wrong with my strategy below, and what needs to be added to successful:

  1. I translated our FB video ad to voiceover in local languages.. i.e. Italian, French, German, Spanish,Korean, Japanese (not sure if I should mess with Dutch, Swedish, smaller languages etc..)

  2. My Shopify store is set up geopolitically so that ideally the page translates into their local language. I do run it all from my .com so it is not separated by their country extension.

  3. I plan to run $50 - $100 FB tests to see conversions and CTR. Possibly splitting between English and local language in those regions to see which performs better.

  4. I increased the price of my product from $70 to $80 in those areas and charge $10 in shipping to offset the int'l shipping cost of $25.

What else am I not considering? Any other apps or plugins that are useful besides language geopolitical tracking? Anything to consider when running these FB ads that would be different from the US ones I set up?
