Don’t get the metal “one-size fits all” spring strap. I’ve used both and they’re pretty much the same blister-causing chunks of rubber weights. Get whichever one you’ll use in the pipeline if only to have a back-up set to the ones you get issued.

I’m getting them from ATAC fitness have no idea about a metal heel sttap

Does he spring the extra money for the metal heel strap? If so, on which one?

One foot rocket, one foot jet, alternate every 500m

Ok thanks didn’t know if name brand really mattered

I've only seen people using the issued masks. Having never used frameless I can't offer any info on that, but no, I doubt it's really relevant.

I’ve seen most BRC students with frogs or rocket fins and another question is what type of face mask should I get? I’ve heard that frameless is the way to go but does it actually matter?

Frogs, without a doubt. If for whatever reason rockets and jets are your only choices, then rockets. I went from one of the slowest finners in my class to one of the fastest the next day by picking up some frogs.

Frogs>rockets>jets
In that order. stiffness scale also but each serves their own purpose for the desired swimming technique. Ex. Freestyle vs. sidestroke

Rocket fins are what's used at BUD/s. Get Rocket fins.

So I need some advice I’m training for SARC and I’ve heard people say get rocket fins and get jet fins can y’all tell me the difference between both please? Thanks.

Rocket or jet fins
